So, I was inticed to the Belief-O-Matic religion test, and got some interesting results about what they think that I believe. The top ten religions with which I have the most in common:
1. Mainline to Liberal Christian/Protestant (100%)
2. Orthodox Quaker (88%)
3. Liberal Quaker (87%)
4. Baha'i Faith (86%)
5. Unitarian Universalism (86%)
6. Mainline to Conservative Christian/Protestant (72%)
7. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (71%)
8. Reform Judaism (68%)
9. Christian Scientist (66%)
10. Orthodox Judaism (62%)
Hmm... Turns out my family is right (sorry for the jab, family): I am liberal. Heh Heh. More interesting than that, however, is that Baha'i and Unitarian beat out Conservative Christianity! Believing in Jesus certainly hurts my Jewish scores, to which I apologize to Abraham Heschel, for whom this blog it titled. And... drum roll... I guess that my premonitions were right, and should check out these here Quakers just a bit more, eh?
In other news, I'm about to buy a computer, over which I've been drooling and envying for many months now: an Apple BlackBook, 2gb RAM, 160gb HD. Ahh... I think that sort of hurt my Buddhist scores, which ends up way down the list.
Be well, y'all.
Oh, and because I've no clue how to create a link, here's the URL for the Belief-O-Matic that I couldn't insert:
